The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, continues to impact communities locally and regions across the globe. I am here for your students during this trying time, and I feel that as a community we can get through this!
As we progress through this trying time, I would like to make it as easy for students and families as possible to stay on top of our math skills, and continue to practice topics that we have already covered throughout the year. I will not be introducing any new material until we get back into the classroom.
Daily Procedure: 1.) Students will need to check into Teacherease to mark their attendance for the day. 2.) Students should be checking emails daily for any additional instructions or invitations from their teachers. 3.) Students will need to check into Google Classroom for math by leaving a comment. This will be their attendance for math class only. 4.) Each day I will post a new activity or task for students to work on. *They should only be spending about 15-30 minutes per day per class. 5.) Keep in touch with the teacher with any questions about the topic and stay on top of your work! It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you fall behind on your work.
Most importantly, stay safe and healthy! Try not to get stressed or overwhelmed, we are all in this together. Stop when you need to; and take a break. Come back to it if needed, or reach out to a teacher, family member or friend for guidance. Teachers will be checking emails Monday-Friday from 9-3.
Stay safe and healthly!
